If you grew up in the 80's like me then you probably had at least one birthday party at your local Chuck E. Cheese's. Me, well I had four consecutive birthday parties at Chuck E. Cheese's and at the time, each one was more amazing then the last. The animatronic characters seemed larger then life, you could spend hours in those pits filled with plastic balls and you didn't care that the pizza tasted like a dead possum covered in cheese. The first time you enter one as an adult, however, is an entirely different experience and you instantly wonder why you thought these places were so awesome as a child. An hour later, you've drank four beers and you can't figure out why you suddenly feel like you're trapped in a Saw movie and why that life-sized rat won't stop staring at you.
