Comic book characters have always been forced to live in a sexless world, so it makes sense that they try and sneak a little sexual innuendo in there every chance they get. Sure it could have something to do with the fact that the people who create them are probably a little sexually repressed themselves but that's only if you believe that comic book characters aren't actually alive. I believed that until I partied with Chuck E. Cheese in Vegas last year, and believe me that guy has some stories that will change your whole perspective about life.
